This directory collects every version of the Jargon File I could find,
in its original flat-text form.

First, the jargon-1 versions

jarg1-81-MM-DD.txt	Linked to jarg110.txt
jarg1-82-11-14.txt	Linked to jarg120.txt
jarg1-87-01-25.txt	Linked to jarg130.txt
jarg1-88-10-04.txt	Linked to jarg140.txt

It looks like jarg1-87-01-25.txt and jarg1-88-10-04.txt are
trivial variants of jarg1-82-11-14.txt, which is closely descended
from jarg1-81-MM-DD.txt. Most of the jargon-1 copies out there
are jarg1-82-11-14.txt.

Steele-1983 is a galley of the original Hacker's Dictionary. It's
not quite the final book, which was polished, but has the same
wordlist (I think). It's linked to jarg150.txt.

The files suffixed jarg[234]* are the versions I edited. Release date is
on the first line of the file.

This directory also includes the data-mining tools with which I
reconstructed the Jargon File's change history. They are pretty much
all driven by productions in the Makefile,
